Here is a small tutorial to help you to change a color picture, in a black and white picture, with colored eyes. You can create this with Photoshop CS4 and CS5.

Picture 01.

With this picture we gonna start by converting it in a
Black and White picture with blue eyes.

Picture 1, Girl in color.I always start with making a duplicate of the picture that I am using. Just to be sure.

Picture 2.

So select in the top menu, “Layer” , and select “Duplicate layer”

Picture 3. Select the “Lasso” tool on the left. (See picture 3.)

Then you have the best result if you first make the eyes a little bigger by zooming in. Press “Ctrl” + to zoom in on the eyes.

Picture 4. Then circle around Eye 1, and then press “Shift” to do it also with eye 2.

: Picture 4. Zoom in to the eyes. And select.

And then the most important part to get this done. If you forget this step you get a wrong result. Go to “Select”, and choice “Inverse” (Shift + Ctrl + I in keyboard shortcut) Not much to see, but important.

Picture 5. Then choice “Layer” –> “New Adjustment Layer” and there “Black & white”
